Introducing Charles – Head Coach of HVVC’s 2025–2026 16-2 Team
Charles is a passionate volleyball player and developing coach who brings energy, communication, and team-first leadership to every practice. He loves volleyball and is driven by helping athletes grow, build confidence, and enjoy the sport as much as he does. With experience organizing teams, supporting teammates, and fostering positive group dynamics, he focuses on creating an environment where players feel supported, challenged, and motivated to improve.
He believes in purposeful training, strong fundamentals, and building athletes’ character both on and off the court. Charles has been playing volleyball for over a decade and coaching on and off for over five years. He was introduced to the sport by his father and quickly fell in love with it. He continued playing through middle school, competed abroad during high school, played club volleyball in college, and today still stays active in recreational adult leagues.
When he’s not playing or coaching volleyball, Charles enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, backpacking, and skiing. He also values time with friends and family, occasionally gets lost in a good book, and enjoys listening to music.
