The HVVC 10U-12U Developmental Spring Team is a practice focused team created for young athletes who have demonstrated strong interest, potential, and readiness for the next step in their volleyball journey.
This team serves as an introduction to club volleyball, helping prepare athletes for the expectations, structure, and competitive environment of club play in the upcoming fall season. Athletes will train together consistently as a team, learning not only volleyball skills, but also how to practice, communicate, and grow within a team setting.
The spring team is currently scheduled to train April 6 through May 27, with the potential to continue training through Summer months if there is interest and gym availability. Any training beyond May 27 will be offered as a separate registration with an additional cost, and returning families will be offered priority registration.
The team will consist of approximately 10-14 athletes, allowing for high-quality reps, intentional coaching, and meaningful team development. This team will not participate in games, however our goal is to organize 1–2 local scrimmages (pending availability of another similarly skilled group) to provide athletes with game-like experiences as a team.
Team Emphasis Includes:
– Strong foundational skill development
– Introduction to team systems, positioning, and court awareness
– Building confidence, communication, and team responsibility
– Preparation for future club volleyball participation
HVVC highly recommend this program for players and families who are interested in competing on a 11U-12U club volleyball team next club season (approximate club season dates: November 2026 – April 2027). Athletes will build a strong foundation in fundamental skills while learning the game in alignment with HVVC standards and long-term athlete development goals.
