Kendal Ishida, 12-1 Head Coach
Introducing Kendal – Head Coach of HVVC’s 2025–2026 12-1 Team
Kendal has been immersed in the volleyball world since middle school, playing for NCVBC, Athena, and Clackamas High School. She currently serves as the head coach of Clackamas High School’s JV2 team for the 2025 season and has also coached at GETC for the past three summers, where she discovered and deepened her passion for coaching.
Her coaching philosophy focuses on building strong fundamentals and technical skills while also emphasizing the mental side of being an athlete. Kendal is committed to creating a positive, supportive environment where athletes can grow in confidence, develop their love for the sport, and thrive both on and off the court.
She is dedicated to sharing her love of the game and ensuring every athlete has a meaningful, enjoyable experience.
Outside of volleyball, Kendal is pursuing a nursing degree at Mt. Hood Community College. In her free time, she enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with her family on adventures like kiteboarding and snowboarding.
