Sarah Borski, Club Director
Introducing Sarah – Director of Happy Valley Volleyball Club and HVVC Academy, where she brings a wealth of experience in program management, elite training, and athlete development.
With a lifelong passion for volleyball and her community, Sarah founded HVVC in 2023 to provide year-round training opportunities for local athletes to develop their skills, foster teamwork, and play in a supportive, high-energy environment. Now entering its third season, Sarah is thrilled by the momentum and rapid growth of the HVVC community.
Sarah discovered her love for volleyball in 6th grade, setting ambitious goals to compete at the collegiate level. She joined Nike NW Juniors, where she trained and competed for seven seasons among an elite group of athletes and coaches. During her time at Gresham High School, she helped lead her team to back-to-back 4A OSAA State Championships in 2001 and 2002.
After graduating in 2003, Sarah continued her athletic career at Boise State University on a full athletic scholarship. Her dedication and work ethic, both on and off the court, shaped not only her playing career but her leadership and resilience far beyond it.
Following college, Sarah shifted her focus to raising her three amazing children. In 2016, she returned to the court to coach her daughter’s first rec volleyball season, planting the early seeds for what would evolve into Happy Valley Volleyball Club. With 10+ years of coaching experience spanning recreational and competitive levels, Sarah continues to inspire athletes to reach their potential.
